The Neocase Functional Consultant will report to the Director of Professional Services and perform various professional services activities for Neocase implementation projects. To be successful in this position, the Functional Consultant will be required to understand, analyze, and document client requirements, configure the Neocase solution per the specifications, guide the client toward best practice recommendations, assist User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage project to ensure successful and timely completion of installation activities.

Duties & Responsabilities

Presales

  • Demonstrate new developments, modifications and feature enhancements to the client decision-makers and team members
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to scoping of projects and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP)
  • Advise management whether or not to submit a proposal to prospective client’s based on analysis of prospective clients needs and ability of Neocase to meet those needs

Analysis & Project Management

  • Analyze client needs from a macroscopic point of view
  • Provide consulting guidance to clients for best practices
  • Decide project next steps and drive client to achieve project milestones
  • Utilize SME to write detailed functional specifications and obtain agreement from client; adjust specifications as necessary to conform to client’s needs to applications limitations
  • Draft a development strategy in preparation for the development team meeting; advise on key areas of concern
  • Test Solution for meeting client specs; implement User Testing
  • Participate in Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and Capacity Building activities

Implementation

  • Ensure adherence to statement of work scope and project parameters
  • Provide guidance to client on various Neocase policies, guidelines, standards etc.
  • Design and configure system to agreed specifications
  • Validate configuration with client and ensure compliance with business needs
  • Prepare and present project materials at different levels within the client organization

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science or work equivalent
  • Neocase product knowledge preferred
  • Experience with design and modeling of the functional architecture of an application
  • Experience with drafting user guides and business guides
  • Experience with software implementation projects
  • Global software implementation experience desired
